Telepsychology
I see patients virtually, on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. This helps to alleviate barriers to accessing treatment (transportation, travel, geography, etc.)
Health and Rehabilitation Psychology
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced life changing injuries, disabilities, and/or chronic health & medical conditions that impact daily life (and/or their family members or loved ones).
General examples of what therapy can focus on include: adapting to new life circumstances, navigating relationships, returning to the community, improving sleep, managing pain, and treating depression and/or anxiety.
Emotional Concerns
I use evidence-based therapy approaches to address a variety of mental health and mood concerns, ranging from the stress of every day life, to more significant depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Well-Being, Resilience, Quality of Life
In addition to targeting and treating emotional concerns, I also incorporate a positive and strengths-based approach to emphasize and highlight life's positive aspects and possibilities.
